2 reasons Kenyan Drake could be a sneaky free agency target for the Texans

The duo of Drake and Duke Johnson would be exciting to watch

With Hyde and Miller expected to join other teams this offseason, Johnson is currently the de facto starting running back for the Texans next season. Of course, that is likely going to change in free agency or in the 2020 NFL Draft.

As good as Johnson is, pairing him with Drake would be an ideal scenario for Houston’s offense. After getting traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Cardinals in 2019, Drake flashed his potential in an offense that utilizes his versatility correctly.

In just eight games in Arizona, Drake recorded 814 yards from scrimmage and eight touchdowns this past season. Now, combine that production with Johnson and Deshaun Watson, that could be a lethal rushing attack.

Plus, Drake and Johnson sound like a very ordinary law-firm and could (probably not) catch on with the fans. Above all, both Drake and Johnson are capable receivers and could give the Texans an endless amount of possibilities on offense.
