Looking ahead at the 2020 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers currently hold the No. 30 overall pick. It is a pick that could prove to be very valuable for the Packers, who need to add a couple young pieces to the puzzle.
After a very slow free agency period, fans are still worried about two positions in particular. Those two positions would be wide receiver and inside linebacker. Green Bay did sign both Christian Kirksey and Devin Funchess, but neither guy has proven that they can stay healthy or produce consistently.
Matt LaFleur and company went 13-3 last season and made a trip to the NFC Championship Game. Unfortunately, the San Francisco 49ers blew them out by a final score of 37-20. Now, the Packers must add a few pieces of talent to take the next step towards making a Super Bowl run.
Green Bay has to feel fairly good about their roster. They don’t have many major holes, but the guy they get at No. 30 needs to be capable of playing right away.
All of that being said, let’s take a look at two sleeper targets that the Packers could take with their first-round selection.
