3 dream trade targets for the Colts from the Browns

The Indianapolis Colts are a dark horse playoff team and they may be just a player or two away from truly being a top NFL contender. They are in a tough division as the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans just came off playoff runs. In order for the Colts to make the playoffs, they are going to need a winning record in their division.

One team that may be interested in shopping players after a very frustrating season last year is the Cleveland Browns. They entered last season as playoff contenders and had enough talent to contend for the Super Bowl. Issues with team chemistry, poor coaching, and inconsistent QB play led to another disappointing season.

Perhaps the Browns will look to strike a deal with another playoff hopeful in order to secure a better future for the team?

There are a few areas that the Colts need to improve on if they truly want to be an AFC contender. It just so happens that in most of these positions, the Browns have good depth. Some change would be good for Cleveland, and it would be smart for the Colts to look to the Browns for help.

Let me preface these trade targets with a bit of a warning. The idea of a dream trade target doesn’t mean I expect the trade to happen. It doesn’t mean Cleveland should trade away some of their best players. I am saying that if the Colts are willing to meet the Browns asking price, these players would be a perfect fit in Indianapolis.

With that being said, here are three dream trade targets for Indianapolis from the Browns.
