3 edge rushers the Cowboys should still target in free agency

The Dallas Cowboys entered free agency with the mindset to retain Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper. After franchise tagging Prescott and re-signing Cooper, the Cowboys can shift their attention to some of the other needs on the roster.

Amidst the Cowboys bringing back some of their key offensive players, Robert Quinn departed in free agency, joining the Chicago Bears. With Quinn heading to the Windy City, Dallas could be in the market for an edge rusher in free agency.

Even though Jadeveon Clowney is still available, the Cowboys don’t appear to be a possible suitor due to his asking price. On the other hand, there are still a few viable options for Dallas to choose from. So far this offseason, the Cowboys did add Gerald McCoy to bolster the defensive line.

In an attempt to save cap space, Dallas would be wise to sign an experienced edge defender to a short-term deal. All that being said, here are three edge rushers the Cowboys should still target in free agency.
