3 free agent tight ends the Steelers should consider signing

Looking ahead to the upcoming NFL free agency period, the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be an intriguing team to keep an eye on. After missing the playoffs in 2019, Mike Tomlin and company have a few positions that they could look to spend on in order to get back into contention in 2020.

One of those positions that the Steelers need to focus on improving is tight end.

Granted, Vance McDonald is not a horrible tight end. However, he would be much better as a No. 2 tight end. There are some free agents that would make a lot of sense for Pittsburgh.

Ben Roethlisberger is set to make his return to the field in 2020 after missing most of the 2019 season due to an elbow injury. He will still have JuJu Smith-Schuster to target, but gone are the days of also having Antonio Brown. Pittsburgh needs to bring in some more help for him.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three free agent tight ends the Steelers should consider signing.
