3 ideal targets for the 49ers at No. 13 in the 2020 NFL Draft

1. Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Line, South Carolina

Standing in at 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds, Javon Kinlaw would immediately be able to replace DeForest Buckner for the 49ers. He would be able to do so on a much cheaper deal, and would form a brutal tandem with Nick Bosa long-term.

Last season with the Gamecocks, Kinlaw recorded 35 total tackles, six sacks, two fumble recoveries, and two defended passes. NFL.com has compared him to Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers, which is a very favorable comparison.

Kinlaw has much more long-term potential than Brockers ever did. Joining an elite defense with the 49ers would give him an ideal start to his career. This seems like a match made in heaven and San Francisco shouldn’t think twice if he is on the board at No. 13.
