3 late free agency targets the Dallas Cowboys should consider

The Dallas Cowboys have been busy this offseason as Jerry Jones and company look to power their way back to Super Bowl contention. After missing the playoffs in embarrassing fashion last season, the Cowboys are making moves to make sure that they don’t go through that kind of collapse again.

First and foremost, the Cowboys made a big move to remove Jason Garrett from his head coaching position and hired former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy to replace him. The move signals a new era of football in Dallas.

Since then, the Cowboys have been very aggressive in free agency. Among their moves have been franchise tagging Dak Prescott, re-signing Amari Cooper to a massive deal, and adding Gerald McCoy, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Dontari Poe, and Greg Zuerlein. While those moves are big additions, there are still a few free agents that could make sense for the team.

Jones is always looking to improve his team and making late free agency moves would not be surprising. At this point in the process, the price tag begins dropping a bit and the Cowboys should be open to making another move.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three late free agency targets the Cowboys should take a long look at.
