The San Francisco 49ers are in need of another member of their supporting cast to step up in the playmaking department to help bolster their offensive attack. The greatest candidate for this role is Brandon Aiyuk by a wide margin and could afford him significant opportunity as a result.

There were plenty of rookies that achieved high totals for touchdowns with A.J. Brown and Darius Slayton leading the way with eight. There were a total of seven receivers that recorded at least five touchdown receptions during this period and Aiyuk is certainly capable of doing the same.

There are a lot of factors that go into scoring touchdowns for a receiver, especially for a rookie. Even with that taken into consideration, targeting a total of six touchdown receptions would be advantageous for Aiyuk.
