3 offensive linemen the Cowboys could target in the 2020 NFL Draft

Lloyd Cushenberry

Even though the Cowboys suddenly need a starting center, it’s unlikely they choose to select one in the first round. After Dallas makes a selection at No. 17, their next pick will come in the second round at No. 51.

If the Cowboys want to target an interior lineman on day two, Lloyd Cushenberry is a feasible option. Amid LSU’s historic season in 2019, Cushenberry was the quarterback of the offensive line, manning the center position.

During his collegiate career at LSU, Cushenberry displayed an impressive amount of athleticism at center. In addition to his athleticism, Cushenberry is a battering ram in the run game.

With Frederick no longer anchoring the center position, Dallas could decide to find his replacement in the upcoming draft. Even though he needs some work, Cushenberry could become a quality starter for the Cowboys.
