3 perfect options for the Falcons at No. 16 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Following an awful start to the 2019 NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons finally showed signs of life late in the year. There are a ton of questions surrounding the franchise, especially with head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff being firmly on the hot seat.

Matt Ryan has started showing some signs of age. Julio Jones is still one of the NFL’s elite wide receivers, but has not been able to carry the offense over the last couple of years. Devonta Freeman has been a massive disappointment and the Falcons no longer have a guaranteed ground game.

After their massive collapse in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, the Falcons have gone back to being a non-relevant team. Now, they have to find more talent this offseason.

Atlanta could look into making moves in free agency, but the 2020 NFL Draft will be a massive opportunity for them as well. Bringing in young talent is a major need for the Falcons. They hold the No. 16 overall pick in the draft.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three players who would be perfect options for the Falcons with the No. 16 overall pick in the first round.
