The New York Jets are heading into year two of the Adam Gase project, with them continuing to shape the roster to his liking. Throughout free agency, the Jets made a concerted effort to address the offensive line, making Sam Danold priority No. 1 moving forward.
Altogether, New York signed George Fant, Connor McGovern, Greg Van Roten, and Josh Andrews in free agency to strengthen their offensive front. On the other hand, the Jets did have a few notable players that departed in free agency or that were released by the team.
On the offensive side of the ball, New York lost Robby Anderson to the Carolina Panthers, leaving a void at wide receiver. As for the defense, the Jets released Trumaine Johnson, weakening an already thin cornerback group.
