3 players the Browns should target in the second round

After having high expectations heading into the 2019 season, the Cleveland Browns were perhaps the most disappointing team in the NFL. They went on to produce just a 6-10 record and even lost 33-23 to the league-worst Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.

The Browns are coming off a free agency period where they made plenty of quality additions in an attempt to improve their team. The next step will be to continue their re-tooling efforts in the 2020 NFL Draft.

For the first round round, the current expectation is that the Browns will select an offensive tackle. They could end up having options like Jedrick Wills Jr. or Meckhi Becton since it’s likely that Tristan Wirfs will go No. 8 to the Arizona Cardinals.

There are plenty of long-term needs the Browns face beyond just reinforcing the offensive line to better protect Baker Mayfield. A lot of where Cleveland can benefit from adding a prospect from the NFL Draft into the mix is on defense.

With that being said, there are three players the Browns should target in the second-round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
