3 potential defensive line targets for the Panthers in free agency

The Carolina Panthers are heading into the offseason losing most of their defensive line depth to free agency. Unfortunately, that means that they will need to find a defensive lineman or two in free agency or the 2020 NFL Draft.

Among the names set to hit free agency from the current Panthers’ roster are Dontari Poe, Gerald McCoy, Kyle Love, and Vernon Butler.

In addition to potentially losing those four free agents, the Panthers also saw Luke Kuechly choose an early retirement. He has been one of the NFL’s elite defensive playmakers for years. That loss alone is going to hurt their defense in a massive way.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three free agent defensive linemen that the Panthers could try to sign this offseason.
