Diversify the skill-sets of the wide receiver group

There is simply not enough talent in the Eagles’ wide receiver room and this was an issue that plagued them throughout the 2019 season. After passing on making any notable additions in free agency, their attention needs to shift course to getting it done in NFL free agency.

There a general need for the Eagles to add more talent into the mix at the receiver spot between injuries and a lack of production.. Having an option like Justin Jefferson that projects as being an effective possession receiver from both the inside and outside would help significantly.

The Eagles’ leaders in receiving yards last season featured Zach Ertz (916), Dallas Goedert (607), and Miles Sanders (509), all of which play different positions than wide receiver. They need receiving production coming from different spots and a versatile option like Jefferson would certainly help.
