They didn’t make a move for a star receiver

Some of the NFL’s top wide receivers have been traded in recent years and the Eagles didn’t pull anything off to land one. While it’s reasonable to assume the New York Giants didn’t want to send Odell Beckham Jr. to a division rival, there were other options recently available.

For starters, the other star receivers that were on the move this offseason included DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals and Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills. The Eagles should have tried to get into the mix somehow considering their significant need for a dynamic talent.

There were options like Amari Cooper and even Mohamed Sanu that were traded in recent years that the Eagles also missed out on. Managing to add a talent like Justin Jefferson would be a suitable option to get a potentially dynamic talent into their pipeline.
