3. Melvin Gordon Is Exactly What Deshaun Watson Needs

First and foremost, Melvin Gordon would be exactly the running mate that star quarterback Deshaun Watson needs. Houston needs to find a back who can take pressure off of him on the ground, while also being a threat through the passing game.

Gordon checks both of those needs and would immediately make the offense one of the top units in the entire NFL.

Watson and Gordon would be one of the top quarterback-running back duos in the entire league. Very few defenses would be able to game-plan against both of them. Gordon’s numbers would skyrocket alongside Watson.
