1. Winston Has Legitimate Superstar Talent
Some team is going to take a risk on Winston this offseason. The Steelers should strongly consider trying to lock him up to a two-year deal. Giving Ben Roethlisberger one more full season as the starter and having Winston available if the Steelers need to go another direction would be a wise move.
Winston may have thrown 30 interceptions in 2019, but he also racked up 5,109 yards and 33 touchdowns. He has legitimate superstar potential and his raw talent is through the roof.
If he can develop the mental side of his game and improve his decisions, Winston can be an elite starter. That will take a lot of work, but the Steelers can help him achieve that goal. Winston could easily be the long-term starter in Pittsburgh if he can cut down on the turnovers.
