3 running backs the Bills should still target in free agency

Lamar Miller

Nearly a week since the legal tampering period began, there hasn’t been much action happening in the running back department. But sometime soon, some teams are going to scour the market for some of the veteran options that are still available.

Of the remaining running backs, Lamar Miller figures to be a name that draws interest from a few teams. There’s no reason to believe that the Bills might not be one of them.

Prior to the 2019 season, Miller tore his ACL in the Houston Texans’ first preseason game. Despite missing the 2019 campaign, Miller had five straight seasons of over 1,000 yards from scrimmage.

Even after a serious knee injury, Miller could still be a difference-maker as a change-of-pace back in an offense. If Miller’s recovery from his torn ACL is going well, it’s tough to believe he wouldn’t be a decent signing for the Bills.
