Devonta Freeman
Aside from Miller, Devonta Freeman might be a name that is atop of some team’s lists of running backs still available. Nearly three years ago, the Atlanta Falcons handed Freeman a five-year, $41.2 extension. At the time, Freeman actually became the highest-paid running back in the NFL.
Prior to signing the extension, Freeman was coming off two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Falcons. However, in his last three seasons, Freeman has failed to reach 1,000 rushing yards once, averaging a career-worst 3.6 yards per carry in 2019.
Plus, in that same three-year span, Freeman has dealt with multiple injuries, missing 18 games due to injury. Nevertheless, at 28 years old, Freeman can still be a useful running back in the NFL.
At the least, Freeman is capable of being a receiving threat in the offense, catching 59 passes for 410 yards in 2019. A duo of Singletary and Freeman would give the Bills a dynamic rushing attack.
