Finally, the Browns have to be excited about the potential that Hooper gives them in the red zone. David Njoku was supposed to be a big red zone threat, but he was unable to make much of a difference in 2019. Hooper will find the end zone often.
When everything is said and done, Hooper will have caught at least 10 touchdown passes. Mayfield is going to look his way often inside the 20 and Hooper has the frame and athleticism to beat most defenders he will be matched up against.
This move will pay off big-time for the Browns. We aren’t going to start throwing Super Bowl hype at them like everyone did last offseason, but Hooper is a big step towards getting back into contention.
