The Atlanta Falcons are fresh off of an offseason that saw them add quite a bit of talent. While they still aren’t viewed as legitimate Super Bowl contenders, they are a team that should win some games and have a roster capable of making a playoff push.
Dan Quinn is entering what could be his final year as head coach of the Falcons. If he can’t lead the team to a successful season and a trip to the playoffs, he will be on his way out. The same can be said for general manager Thomas Dimitroff.
Among the moves the Falcons made this offseason were signing Todd Gurley, acquiring tight end Hayden Hurst via a trade with the Baltimore Ravens, and also signing star pass rusher Dante Fowler in free agency.
Needless to say, the Falcons are going to be an intriguing team to keep an eye on in 2020. If everyone stays healthy, their offense could be lethal. On the other hand, there are still quite a few reasons to be leery about them.
