4 burning questions for the Steelers ahead of the NFL Draft

Looking ahead at the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers have quite a few areas of need left to fill. They have been busy and looking to make moves this offseason, but there are still so many things they have to do if they want to get back into playoff contention.

Mike Tomlin and company struggled through a very disappointing season in 2019. In the first year without Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown causing them headaches, the team saw star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger go down with a season-ending elbow injury. That ended their season immediately.

Neither Mason Rudolph or Devlin Hodges were able to come in and play consistent football. Both showed major signs of weakness and the Steelers ended up missing the playoffs.

Now, the Steelers have to figure out how to move forward. Roethlisberger seems to be getting back to full health and the team made a nice trade to acquire Minkah Fitzpatrick last season from the Miami Dolphins. Some of the pieces are in place, but Pittsburgh needs more quality young talent.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four burning questions facing the Steelers leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft.
