4. Hayden Hurst Will Replace Austin Hooper Perfectly
Losing Austin Hooper was a rough blow for the Falcons. However, they quickly addressed the loss by acquiring young tight end Hayden Hurst from the Ravens. That move may end up being one of the most underrated of the entire offseason.
Hurst is just 26 years old and has played in 28 career games with Baltimore. He caught 30 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns in 2019 as the backup tight end to Mark Andrews. Now, he will become the immediate starter for the Falcons.
Atlanta runs an offense that relies heavily on a tight end. Hurst is going to receive more targets than he had in his first two years combined. He will make the most of them and will replace Hooper perfectly.
