3. Matt Ryan Gets Back Into The MVP Conversation
Next up, the Falcons have to be optimistic that Matt Ryan can get things back on track in 2020. He had a bit of a down year in 2019 and struggled with some injuries, but things will turn around this season.
Ryan finished 2019 with solid all-around numbers. He completed 66.2 percent of his pass attempts for 4,466 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. Those numbers aren’t shabby at all, but he will improve them drastically for the Falcons in 2020.
Atlanta has added a new wrinkle to their offense in running back Todd Gurley. The presence of a legitimate threat on the ground will open up the passing game. Ryan will get back into the MVP conversation with huge numbers.
