4 early reasons the Dallas Cowboys will win the NFC East in 2020

The expectations were high for the Dallas Cowboys heading into the 2019 season. Instead, they ended up posting a disappointing 8-8 record and narrowly lost the NFC East crown to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite all their issues, there was an opportunity for the Cowboys to win the NFC East title when they faced off with the Eagles in late December. They fell short in this matchup losing with 17-9 being the final score, causing them to lose the ability to control their own destiny for a playoff spot.

As expected, the Cowboys were unable to retain Byron Jones and Travis Frederick retired, but they managed to sign Amari Cooper to a contract extension. Meanwhile, the situation with Dak Prescott is ongoing but Dallas used their franchise-tag on him.

There were a variety of veteran free agent acquisitions the Cowboys made this offseason in addition to having a successful haul in the 2020 NFL Draft. Basically, they managed to recover from most losses they experienced in free agency while adding young talent into the mix.

With that being said, here are four reasons the Cowboys will win the NFC East during the 2020 season.
