4 potential running back options for the Falcons this offseason

The Atlanta Falcons are heading into the NFL offseason with a few questions surrounding their roster. One of those questions at the running back position, where reports have already come out that they are expected to release longtime running back Devonta Freeman.

Dan Quinn is back for one more season and will be firmly on the hot seat. The team’s general manager, Thomas Dimitroff, is also back for one more year, but will also be on the hot seat.

Atlanta has to figure out how to improve their offense and take more pressure off of Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Establishing a running game would be the way to do that. They have to bring in a player to replace Freeman who can come in and be a 100-yard threat each and every week.
