4 potential wide receiver options for the New York Jets in free agency

As the NFL offseason is set to get underway, the New York Jets know that they need to make some sizable moves in order to get back to the playoffs. After signing two key free agents last offseason in Le’Veon Bell and C.J. Mosley, the team has new positions of need this offseason, especially at wide receiver.

Sam Darnold is a quality NFL quarterback, but he had a lot of trouble in 2019. New York must find a way to add more talent at the wide receiver position this offseason if they want their offense to get to where it needs to be.

There are some star wide receivers who could be available this offseason. A.J. Green and Amari Cooper are the top two names, but there are others who are set to hit free agency who could be difference makers for whoever signs them as well.

During the 2019 season, the Jets had a wide receiving corps that had two decent talents in Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder, with nothing else behind them. Outside of those two, the Jets were working with names like an aging Demaryius Thomas coming off of a torn Achilles in 2018, Vyncint Smith, and Braxton Berrios.

Obviously, the Jets need to be looking to make some moves in free agency. Should they choose to do so, there are going to be plenty of options.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four potential options at wide receiver for the Jets in free agency.
