After 67 coronavirus opt-outs around the NFL and inevitable training camp injuries ahead, teams will have some roster holes to fill. One of the names being floated around to join a roster in the coming weeks is wide reciever Taylor Gabriel.
The former Chicago Bear was released by the team in February, ahead of his seventh season in the league. Gabriel, 29, has proved to be effective in the slot during his two years in Chicago, catching 96 balls for 1,041 yards and six touchdowns in 25 appearances.
Despite some issues with drops, he was off to a strong start in 2019 until concussions forced him to miss seven games. Assuming his injury troubles are behind him, there are several teams that could use the 5-foot-7 speedster’s talents in the upcoming season.
Let’s take a look at some potential suitors for Taylor Gabriel.
