5 teams who should sign free agent DE Everson Griffen

There are quite a few names that remain in free agency that teams should be clamoring to sign. One of those names is Everson Griffen, who is finally beginning to draw more interest from teams after being on the open market for two months.

Griffen, who is entering his 11th season in the NFL, agreed to mutually part ways with the Minnesota Vikings earlier this offseason. Following his technical release from the team he’s spent 10 years with, it was expected that Griffen could re-sign with the Vikings.

However, Minnesota discovered that they wouldn’t be able to make a reunion with Griffen work due to their financial situation. While he’s left the door ajar for a possible return, the veteran defensive end has begun searching for a new place to call home in 2020.

Even at 32 years old, Griffen can still be a difference maker for a handful of teams in the NFL. With that in mind, here are five teams that should considering signing Griffen this offseason.
