Browns: 3 bold predictions for the offense in Week 2 vs. Bengals

Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns entered their Week 1 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens looking to prove that they were a better football team than they were in 2019. Unfortunately, they ended up losing the game by a final score of 38-6.

Despite the blowout loss, there are no reasons to freak out in Cleveland. Yes, they underwhelmed last season, but this was game one of the season. With no preseason, a rusty start is expected with a new head coach and new pieces trying to figure out their roles.

In Week 2, the Browns will be taking on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. Two division games to start the season isn’t easy, but at least the Bengals aren’t as tough as the Ravens.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals ended up losing their first game of the season as well. They are much better than they were in 2019, but the Browns should win this game if their offense plays up to its potential.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Browns’ offense this week against the Bengals.
