The Cleveland Browns suffered through a brutally disappointing 2019 campaign. After receiving Super Bowl hype throughout the offseason and preseason, they ended up missing the playoffs with a 6-10 record.

Following the dismal performance from last year, the Browns decided to shake things up. They fired head coach Freddie Kitchens after just one season at the helm. To replace him, they brought in former Minnesota Vikings’ offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski.

Cleveland also decided to swing big offensively in free agency. They brought in tight end Austin Hooper on a very lucrative contract. It is just another move designed to help Baker Mayfield become the MVP quarterback that the Browns believe he can be.

Speaking of Mayfield, he had a rough 2019 season as well. He failed to live up to the hype. Odell Beckham Jr. also failed to perform up to expectations.
