Cardinals: 4 goals for Arizona in the 2020 NFL season

When teams in the NFL acquire an All-Pro talent at a prime position on the roster, the expectations for that team tend to rise drastically. Upon the Arizona Cardinals being able to get a steal for DeAndre Hopkins in a head-scratching trade with the Houston Texans, fans and the media alike are optimistic about the Cardinals in 2020.

Without a doubt, one reason to be optimistic about Arizona is because of Kyler Murray manning the quarterback position. The No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft was able to secure the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award as he shined in his debut season with the Cardinals.

Along with Murray, there’s a sense of confidence in Kliff Kingsbury as he enters his second season as Arizona’s head coach. Kingsbury was able to prove that his complex offensive schemes could translate from the college game to the NFL a season ago.

There’s no question that Arizona will be one of the most intriguing teams to keep an eye on in the upcoming season. In light of that, here are four realistic goals for the Cardinals to achieve in 2020.
