Colts: 3 numbers for DeForest Buckner to target in 2020

Instead of holding onto the No. 13 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts elected to send that pick to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for DeForest Buckner. Buckner, who played in the Super Bowl with the 49ers in February, understands what it’s like to face an immense amount of pressure. After joining the Colts, his goal remains the same as it was before — contribute to a Super Bowl victory.

Upon his arrival in Indianapolis, Buckner has cemented himself as one of the best interior defenders in the NFL. As he enters his fifth season in the NFL — his first with the Colts — the Oregon product is focused on asserting his dominance with a horseshoe on his helmet.

Despite joining a new team in 2020, Buckner is expected to have an immediate impact on Indianapolis’ defense. In light of that, here are three numbers for Buckner to target with the Colts next season.
