Fantasy Football: 3 running backs you should avoid in 2020

It is difficult to form a playoff Fantasy Football squad without a solid crop of running backs at your disposal. Having a true RB1 like Ezekiel Elliott, Dalvin Cook, or (a healthy) Saquon Barkley is a big-time positional advantage each week. Having the fantasy cheat-code himself, Christian McCaffrey is even better.

However, not everyone will be lucky to get one of those guys. Even worse, missing on an early running back can set teams up for failure – ask Barkley or James Conner owners last season.

When looking for running backs to avoid, it boils down to a few factors. Draft cost, injury risk, opportunity for touches, and past production all come into play when looking for running backs to either draft or stay away from.

Here are three running backs that show signs of being draft busts and should be avoided in Fantasy Football this season.
