Fantasy Football: Outlook for second-year RBs in the 2020 season

Second-year running backs are always a topic of discussion when it comes to fantasy football. Which second-year running backs are worth keeping tabs on in fantasy football for the 2020 season?

Ahead of the upcoming season, there is plenty of hype surrounding Miles Sanders of the Philadelphia Eagles as he enters his second season in the NFL. However, besides Sanders, other second-year running backs that are worth noting are Devin Singletary, David Montgomery, and Josh Jacobs.

Of the names listed, Jacobs led all rookies in rushing a season ago. The first-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders scampered for 1,150 rushing yards despite missing three games due to a nagging shoulder injury. Jacobs had the eighth-most rushing yards among all running backs in the NFL in 2019.

There’s no doubt that the running backs from the 2019 NFL Draft are going to be popular selections in fantasy football drafts this offseason. Taking that into consideration, let’s take a deeper dive into the fantasy football outlooks for the notable second-year running backs in the 2020 season.
