By some measures, 2019 was the third-year breakout for Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams. He set a career-high in targets, led the league in yards per catch (20.4) and topped 1,000 yards for the first time (1,001). He has an intriguing fantasy football outlook for 2020.
But he also hasn’t gotten to 50 receptions in a season, and after catching 10 touchdowns in 2018 he had just two scores last year. In line with that touchdown drop-off, Williams fell from WR20 in standard fantasy scoring in 2018 to WR37 last year.
The Chargers will have a new quarterback this year, with Tyrod Taylor/Justin Herbert replacing Philip Rivers.
With that notable change under center, what is Williams’ fantasy football outlook for 2020?
