QBs to Start in Week 15
Rams’ Jared Goff (vs. Eagles): Jared Goff had his worst game of the season in Week 14. He would finish with -0.3 points against the Chicago Bears vaunted defense. This week is different though, as the game will be played in beautiful Los Angeles—not cold Chicago. Goff will look to bounce back against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have a decimated secondary.
Ravens’ Lamar Jackson (vs. Buccaneers): Lamar Jackson has been very solid since becoming the starting quarterback. In the last three weeks, Jackson has scored at least 16.5 points. He was recently named the starter even with Joe Flacco returning from injury. Jackson gets to face a weak Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, that has allowed 29 passing touchdowns (second-most in NFL).
Raiders’ Derek Carr (vs. Bengals): Derek Carr is a decent option especially in deeper leagues or is a guy who will go low owned in daily fantasy. Carr has been a serviceable fantasy quarterback in the last two weeks, scoring a combined 43 points. In Week 15, Carr will square off against the Cincinnati Bengals, who allow 21.8 points per game to QBs this season (second-most in NFL).
Other QBs I Like: Seahawks’ Russell Wilson (vs. 49ers), Panthers’ Cam Newton (vs. Saints), Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger (vs. Patriots)
QBs to Sit in Week 15
Buccaneers’ Jameis Winston (vs. Ravens): Jameis Winston has been a viable QB in fantasy this season. Winston has scored 15 or more points in six out of his seven starts this year. I believe he struggles this week against a tough Baltimore Ravens defense. The Ravens have allowed just 15.8 points per game to QBs this season (sixth least in NFL).
Packers’ Aaron Rodgers (vs. Bears): Yes, I am absolutely avoiding Aaron Rodgers this week at all costs. Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have struggled to consistently put up points. It doesn’t help that he’ll need to travel to Chicago in Week 15. The Bears just allowed -0.3 points to Jared Goff, and a have allowed a total of 13.9 points over the past three weeks.
