Fantasy Football: Top 5 Players to Avoid in the Draft

In exactly two weeks, there will be games being played on Sunday that actually hold meaning. Some people have already completed their fantasy drafts, while some wait for the preseason to come to a conclusion. I am one of those people who play it cautious and wait to do my fantasy drafts until the end of the preseason. This is because there are multiple things that could happen to change the whole outlook of my draft.

For example, for people who did their drafts at the beginning of the preseason, they may have taken Derrius Guice. Unfortunately, Guice tore his ACL in the first week of preseason and will miss the whole season. Hopefully, he gets healthy for next year and makes a speedy recovery. For fantasy owners though, they’re in search for a new running back to add to their roster before the season even kicks off.

Now, for everyone who has yet to complete their drafts, here’s a look at five players who you should avoid. This isn’t to say I hate any of these guys, hate is a strong word. I chose these guys based on what I see them doing strictly in fantasy. Let’s just say I strongly dislike these guys in fantasy this year (that sounds better I guess). These guys could have successful seasons, but in fantasy terms, they could disappoint.

Here are the five lucky winners for players to avoid in fantasy in 2018.
