With the selection of Joe Burrow with the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals could be a team littered with worthwhile players in fantasy football. Furthermore, guys like Tyler Boyd, A.J. Green, and John Ross should see more success with Burrow under center for the Bengals in 2020.
Although, since Burrow arrived in Cincinnati, there’s been an ongoing discussion in fantasy football circles on which wide receiver is going to benefit most from the rookie quarterback manning the offense. Will Green be able to remain healthy and build a rapport with Burrow? Or will Boyd build off of his career year in 2019 and be the go-to option for Burrow?
Green — when healthy — has proven that he can be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. On the other hand, while Green has dealt with injuries in recent seasons, Boyd has emerged as a valuable piece for Cincinnati’s offense.
Of course, there’s a chance — and a decent one at that — that both Green and Boyd can both be useful options in fantasy football this season. But if you were given a choice between the two, who would you select? Let’s take a look at why Boyd could edge out Green as the Bengals wide receiver to have in fantasy football in 2020.
