Green Bay Packers: 3 Best Performances from Week 2 Tie vs. Vikings

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers went into their Week 2 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings simply hoping their star quarterback would survive. After suffering a knee injury against the Chicago Bears last week, Rodgers’ status was up in the air all week long about whether he would play or not. Not only was he able to play, he played well and led the Packers to a tie.

That’s right, yet another game ended in a tie. In Week 1, the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers played to a tie. It’s the first time since 1973 that two games have ended in ties in the first two weeks of the season.

Green Bay has to be upset about not winning this game. They were up 20-7 in the second half and even had a 29-21 lead late in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, Kirk Cousins made some big plays and found Adam Thielen for a touchdown to tie the game up.

In overtime, the Vikings missed a field goal and gave Rodgers the chance to win the football game with as little as a field goal. Green Bay’s offense never got anything going and had to punt back to Minnesota. Fortunately for Green Bay, Minnesota’s kicker, Daniel Carlson, shanked another field goal as time expired.

All of that being said, which three individual performnaces, in particular, should Packers’ fans recognize from Week 2 vs. the Vikings?
