The Green Bay Packers came into the NFL offseason with a few major needs to address. Brian Gutekunst has brought a much more aggressive mindset to the franchise over the past couple of years, but the same was not necessarily the case this time around.

While the Packers did ponder making a splash in free agency in tight end Austin Hooper, they were not willing to pay the money necessary to get the deal done. The same was the case with Robby Anderson. Emmanuel Sanders was a free agency target, but he chose to sign with the New Orleans Saints.

Instead, the Packers ended up signing linebacker Christian Kirksey, offensive tackle, Rick Wagner, and wide receiver Devin Funchess.

Those names may not sound like big additions for the Packers. However, the team also isn’t in a desperate position. They finished 2019 with a 13-3 record and ended up in the NFC Championship Game. Huge moves aren’t necessarily needed to make the final push into the Super Bowl.

No big names have been added to the roster, but the guys the Packers did sign have upside. Let’s take a look at how the three names mentioned above will impact Green Bay in 2020.
