Indianapolis Colts: Studs and Duds From Preseason Week 2

The second week of preseason came and went for the Colts as the Baltimore Ravens came to town for a Monday night showdown on ESPN. Joe Flacco, Lamar Jackson, and Robert Griffin III got the quarterback snaps for the Ravens in their 20-19 victory. For the Colts, Andrew Luck played about a quarter and a half, while Jacoby Brissett took over for Luck and played well into the fourth quarter. Phillip Walker took over late in the fourth quarter to close the game for the Colts.

There was plenty of excitement for the game, as Andrew Luck appeared in his first home game since January 1 of 2017. Luck couldn’t get much going during his time on the field, but nonetheless it was a good sight to see.

Starters Anthony Castonzo, T.Y. Hilton, Denzelle Good, Malik Hooker, and Marlon Mack didn’t suit up for the Colts due to injury. Colts head coach Frank Reich said Tuesday that Hooker will make his preseason debut Saturday against the 49ers. He also said Castonzo is making progress but isn’t quite ready yet. Good is expected to make his preseason debut Saturday as well.

After having time to reflect on Monday’s game, here are three studs and duds from the Colts during the preseason week two matchup.
