Jaguars: 3 early bold predictions for QB Gardner Minshew in 2020

Gardner Minshew burst onto the scene with the Jacksonville Jaguars during the 2019 NFL season as a rookie. Following an injury suffered by veteran quarterback Nick Foles, the young quarterback didn’t waste time showing signs that he could be a long-term franchise quarterback for the Jaguars.

Now, the Jaguars have decided to go all-in with Minshew. He has the talent, the skill-set, and the swagger to be an NFL starting quarterback. However, there are some who have concerns that he may not be as good as he looked last season.

During the 2019 season with the Jaguars, Minshew ended up completing 60.6 percent of his pass attempts for 3,271 yards, 21 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He played in 14 regular season games. Minshew also picked up 344 yards on the ground.

Looking ahead to the 2020 NFL season, Minshew will be handed the keys to the franchise. This is his show to run and there are no worries about a veteran quarterback like Foles taking the job from him.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three early bold predictions for Minshew for the upcoming 2020 NFL season.
