Jarrett Stidham
The New England Patriots have become accustomed to winning at a high-level and the quarterback position has played a key role in that success. With Tom Brady now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Pats will need Jarrett Stidham to fill a significant void.
At this current moment, there is a lot of unknown surrounding Stidham as an NFL quarterback. The fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft has appeared in just three games and has attempted just four total passes.
While the Patriots appear keen on starting Stidham in Week 1, he is going to have to execute to keep that job. They could look to turn to Brian Hoyer if Stidham hits a rough patch and underwhelming quarterback play ends up costing them games.
If Stidham hits the ground running, there is a real chance the Patriots could actually win the AFC East despite losing Brady. The defense they have appears primed to impress again and they still have some talent on offense around the quarterback position.
