The Dallas Cowboys entered the offseason with many needs coming off a disappointing 2019 season. They finished 8-8 and one game behind the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas filled needs in the draft and made a decision regarding their quarterback.

Dak Prescott signed his franchise tender for 2020 which will pay him $31.4 million this season. In the draft, the Cowboys needed help in the secondary and wide receiver. Despite signing Amari Cooper to a five-year, $100 million contract, Dallas needed another weapon. CeeDee Lamb fell right in their lap on night one of the draft. In the second round, the Cowboys selected Trevon Diggs out of Alabama.

Following the 2020 season, the Cowboys will have some decisions to make. If they do not sign Prescott to a long term contract, he will be a free agent following the season. Dallas added Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on a one-year deal for 2020. He will also be a free agent after the season.

The Cowboys are hoping that they can take the next step. With Prescott under center, the Cowboys have made the playoffs twice and are 1-2. They are looking to return to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since their last Super Bowl title in 1995. Here are a few free agent targets that could help them reach that goal next season.
