NFL Free Agency 2021: 5 teams who monitor Todd Gurley this season

Two years ago, Todd Gurley would have been at the top of pretty much every single team’s wishlist.

However, because of arthritis in his knees, Gurley is no longer the running threat he used to be. The Los Angeles Rams felt what he was due to be paid didn’t equal the value he brought to them on the field. As a result, the Rams released the 26-year-old, prompting the Atlanta Flacons to sign Gurley on a one-year deal.

It’s true, Gurley may never be the elite running back he was a couple years ago. But he’s still a playmaker and could be the answer to teams looking for added muscle in the backfield once he hits free agency in 2021.

With that in mind, here are five teams who should be watching Todd Gurley this season.
