NFL: One potential surprising cut from each team in the AFC West

Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Las Vegas Raiders – Keelan Doss, Wide Receiver

Once again, we run across a team that is tough to list a surprising cut from. Keelan Doss will have to do for the Raiders, mainly due to the fact that he is only just 24 years old with a lot of raw talent and potential.

Standing in at 6-foot-3 and just under 205 pounds, Doss has great size and athleticism for an NFL wideout. He ended up catching 11 passes for 133 yards in 2019 and was slated for a bigger role in 2020. Unfortunately, the Raiders ended up drafting two good wide receivers in Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards.

Doss simply isn’t going to make the cut, but it won’t take long for him to find a new team. He has legitimate potential to become a solid role player elsewhere.

Jon Gruden really likes Doss, but at this point in time with the wide receivers the Raiders have brought in, he simply won’t make the roster.
