Oakland Raiders: 3 free agents to target this offseason

The Oakland Raiders season is a wash, that should come as a surprise to no one. After trading Khalil Mack to Chicago a week before the season began, it was clear that Jon Gruden did not believe the Raiders had the necessary talent to compete. He proceeded to cut several veteran players, and traded Amari Cooper as well, further cementing the reality of the situation. The Raiders are in the midst of a complete rebuild.

With that in mind, the team has to be selective in free agency, doing their best to avoid overpaying for veteran players. This means that the more realistic targets are the second tier players, not the big ticket guys. Le’Veon Bell? Nah. Demarcus Lawrence? Unlikely.

Let’s take a look at three players the Raiders should target in the 2019 offseason.
