Cincinnati Bengals – A.J. Green, Wide Receiver

Next up, there is only one player on the Bengals’ roster that would make sense for a trade. That would be star veteran wide receiver A.J. Green. He ended up being franchise tagged by the Bengals this offseason, but still could be on the move.

Joe Burrow wants to play with Green, which makes it likely that he will stick around for another year at least as well. But, the Bengals did go out and bring in Clemson star wide receiver Tee Higgins early in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. They also have Tyler Boyd who is capable of being a No. 1 target.

Due to the fact that Green sticking around in Cincinnati long-term seems unlikely, a trade could be possible. Plenty of teams would love to add Green to their offense.

Cincinnati may not end up getting involved in trade talks with anyone, but an aggressive offer could force them to consider. Green and Burrow will likely play the 2020 season together, but teams should still come calling.
