Pittsburgh Steelers – Mason Rudolph, Quarterback

Let’s be real, there are no really good options that the Steelers could look to move. If there was one, however, it would be backup quarterback Mason Rudolph.

After Ben Roethlisberger went down with an elbow injury last season, Rudolph was thrown into action. He ended up completing 62.2 percent of his pass attempts for 1,765 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Rudolph is a quality backup that now has plenty of experience.

At 24 years old, Rudolph could be a trade target for any team in need of an upgrade at backup quarterback. Pittsburgh would likely be open to trading him if a decent offer came in.

Should the Steelers choose to move Rudolph, they would still have Devlin Hodges, Paxton Lynch, and J.T. Barrett on the roster. Rudolph is expendable, which makes him a potential moving piece prior to the season.
